We work hard to process your order quickly and efficiently, so you receive your product as soon as possible.  Orders cannot be interrupted once they have been placed. 

If you forgot to add something to your order before it was placed, please place a separate order for the additional item.  It will ship to you in separate packaging, and will have its own unique order number and tracking link.

Orders completed before 11:30am Mon-Fri will be shipped same day.

We use DPD tracked 2-day delivery service for all our orders.

We do not currently offer a next-day or express delivery service.

We do not cover return shipping fees. If you wish to return an order you will be required to arrange and pay for the shipping. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

We’re glad you asked! Make sure all items are unused, unworn, in the same condition you received it and have the original tags attached. If you have any questions about whether or not your items qualify for a return, check our Refund Policy.

Our warehouse needs to receive and process your return within 30 days of purchase to process a refund back to your original form of payment.

Our two-step returns and reorder process takes the place of an exchange policy.

Since our available stock changes every day, we cannot guarantee that your item will still be in stock by the time a reorder is placed. Need recommendations for a replacement product? We’re here to help!

The gift item(s) would follow the same return process listed under ‘How do I return my items?’. Please note that for any online orders the original purchaser would receive a refund. Please speak to the gift giver to coordinate a potential re-order.


We’re passionate about the outdoors and the gear we make, and we manufacture all of our products to meet performance-elevated standards. We also understand that accidents do happen. The Mountain Hardwear Warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials. Skis, snowboards, crampons, axes and other strap equipment can damage clothing and gloves upon direct contact. Rips, tears, burns and punctures sometimes occur during normal use, and are not covered under the terms of warranty. Mother Nature can be one tough mamma, too. Use your judgement when assessing whether your product is likely to be covered under our warranty policy. It may simple be time to replace your product, as we hope to have the opportunity to provide you with superior quality products and service in the future.

Small holes and tears can be repaired in the field using a needle and thread. For best results, we recommend the following Gear Aid products:

All Mountain Hardwear products are covered by our standard warranty, to the original owner, for the lifetime of the product.  

Unfortunately, this doesn’t mean your lifetime or ours, but rather the lifetime of the components and fabrics. Moving parts will wear out and fabrics will deteriorate and fade over time. We’ll cover your product under our warranty until such a time that we deem a product to be worn our beyond reasonable repair. A product showing signs of age (fabric that’s become thin or faded, or has developed tears; a zipper that no longer catches; fraying cuffs, etc.) if often the result of natural breakdown. We’ll take this into consideration when assessing your warranty request.

We process all items upon receipt to ensure fastest turnaround possible. Our typical turnaround time is 8-10 weeks from the time we receive your product until it is returned to you. In rare cases, it may take longer. Avoid delays by carefully following the shipping requirements and sending the product freshly washed. While not required, it is a good idea to insure the package or get a tracking number. We cannot be held responsible for packages lost in transit.

Eventually, regardless of how carefully you use them, or how well you care for your Hardwear gear, they will begin to experience natural breakdown of materials and show wear. Fabric wearing thin, showing abrasions, stains and discolouration, rips, tears, loss of DWR or laminates losing their ability to keep our moisture can be considered wear and tear. MHW manufactures high quality durable products, but they are not indestructible!
